11x's growth team stopped guessing: every lead-gen ad now starts with Amdahl

Every lead gen piece 11x ships is informed by Amdahl.

"The world is your oyster."

Imaan Sultan led growth at 11x.ai. We asked her how she would describe Amdahl to another GTM practitioner. Her answer:

"Your go-to for getting data rooted in confidence that can inform your positioning, anything that touches your sales teams, and anything that relates to external customer use. It's so incredibly grounded in good data that you can have full confidence that whatever data you're pulling from it will be valuable to what you're targeting. The world is your oyster."

11x wasn’t short on buyer data. They were short on a reliable way for their GTM agents to use it.

The team had a growing archive of Gong calls, but turning those conversations into useful GTM insight was slow and inconsistent. Imaan said Gong’s AI often pulled limited or irrelevant quotes, and manual analysis took too much time.

"The level of detail wasn't quite there, especially for Gong. Their AI pulls very limited quotes, and the quotes aren't even relevant sometimes."

Amdahl turned this growing time sink into 11x's GTM leverage.

Imaan used Amdahl's Claude MCP to find what landed in stronger calls, identify competitive differentiators, prepare case studies, and pressure-test positioning against 11x's own customer evidence.

"It’s always evidence-informed, so I can always see where Amdahl is pulling from and really feel confident in what I’m doing."

Example runs of the Amdahl API on sample data. Each question returns cited evidence. Each draft returns its checks.

Where did security reviews stall deals last quarter?. Result: 23 matches · 3 stall patterns. Deals citing: SOC 2 timing / bridge letter 14, Legal redlines on DPA 6, Pen-test evidence ask 3, SSO scoping 2. 14 deals cite SOC 2 timing — not price. The stall is paperwork, not conviction. Avg 24 days lost in the security loop; front-load the packet at Eval entry.

Which open deals have a champion who went quiet in the last 30 days?. Result: 9 deals · $1.4M at risk. Days silent: Vantiv · expansion 41, Corex · new logo 36, Helio · renewal+ 33, Braxton · new logo 31, Nimbus · expansion 30. 3 of 9 mentioned a reorg on their last call — champion risk, not deal risk. Re-engage Vantiv first: $320K and the EB was never multi-threaded.

What made buyers switch to us from Vectorline this year?. Result: 31 wins · 4 switch triggers. Wins citing: CRM + calls in one query 13, Cited, checkable answers 8, Agents can query it 6, Seat-price fatigue 4. Price is the 4th reason, not the 1st — lead battlecards with unified query, not cost. “Cited answers” shows up in 26% of switch stories; make it the demo's first beat.

Who offered discounts before the buyer even asked?. Result: 17 deals · $340K left on the table. Est. leakage ($K): T. Nguyen 126, L. Marsh 88, D. Okafor 67, K. Silva 41, P. Reyes 18. 16 of 17 concessions came inside 5 minutes of a budget mention — a reflex, not a strategy. Coach the pause: deals with no unprompted discount closed at the same rate.

Which renewals are quietly at risk — and what did the customer actually say?. Result: 6 flagged · 2 critical. Risk severity: Ferrous 91, Lumina 84, Paloma 62, Kestrel 58, Orchid 54. Ferrous said “consolidating vendors” in the QBR — nobody logged it in CRM. 2 critical accounts share one pattern: sponsor change + usage dip. Escalate both this week.

Amdahl also changed what 11x said. The team's draft message was "do more at scale without the headcount." Amdahl flagged that buyers would read that line as replacing people, which is how 11x's competitors pitch. Shipping it would have put 11x in the same box as them, for something 11x doesn't do. Imaan rewrote the ad copy and the website before launch.

"I pivoted a lot of our copy based on the messaging I got from Amdahl. It was against what we kind of assumed."

Before Amdahl, 11x had no LinkedIn lead-gen motion. Every ad in it was built on Amdahl research. Imaan estimates those ads perform 4 to 6% better, and the leads are higher quality.

"Every single lead gen piece that we've ran through LinkedIn ads has been informed by Amdahl."

The value spread beyond marketing. Now 11x AEs come to her.

"I have a lot of AEs come to me and ask if we can do an Amdahl analysis on things, because Gong's AI is not accurate."

One finding went straight to the sales floor. Amdahl found the one thing AEs say on calls that most raises the odds of a signed deal. It is now a must-mention on every call.

Amdahl became the foundation for nearly everything Imaan and her agents wrote. The work moved faster too.

"It saves me so much time. I use it every single day. The reports and everything, I used it, like, for every single thing."

Reclaim your time with Amdahl.

Without Amdahl, Imaan said the alternative was spending weeks building something internally, and getting a worse result.

"I would have probably had to build something on my own that would half do it. The semantic analysis is just so good that I quite honestly don't think anything would be able to replicate it."

For 11x, Amdahl meant less time searching for signal and more confidence acting on it. It became the evidence layer behind some of the team’s most important GTM decisions.
